I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.

Sorry ran out of characters here are the rest of my thoughts:
I am pretty confident in my sales ability but my fiancée and I are expecting. Currently I get a $50k base salary so it makes me nervous moving to something that is 100% commission based in the short term. I currently make around $90k all in.
Honestly wouldn't risk an all commission role with a kid on the way. The reality is if the company has a consistent formula that works they would be able to offer a salary.
Going 100% commission based is quite risky. It would be difficult, to be honest especially if you want to make the same amount. Is a lateral move not an option for you?
