I'm not currently job hunting, but I've heard great things about Jobsolv's signature service. A few people I know landed interviews through their career partners who help with resumes, LinkedIn, and even applying for jobs. It might be worth checking out. Best of luck.
I always have to do something active everyday to reduce my stress and keep me grounded. It helps me work out a lot of my anxiety and also makes me feel accomplished for the day as well. It's hard to stay positive for me sometimes in the job hunt so I always try to schedule things that I enjoy doing whether it be meeting up with friends or family or shopping, it always helps cheer me up.
This is amazing, having that routine is KEY in this season.
I can’t stay inside for too long. It makes me feel sadder than I can be. Also cleaning and making sure my area is as neat as possible. I try to avoid impulse buying but sometimes it’s the only thing that truly makes a difference (I have my limits). In the meantime do your best. That’s all you have to do.
We've been blessed to live near bike trails and parks, so I have easy access to much-needed fresh air while I can enjoy a bit of nature to distract me from our current temporary situation.
I am sorry to hear that OP. I know how you are feeling because I have been job hunting for 6 months with very little luck. I would highly recommend trying yoga. I do hot yoga a couple times a week and I swear I can feel the stess leaving my body.
I have to take breaks from job hunting, even if I’m feeling the pressure.
schedule downtime in your routine. A time for self care like, doing chores, meditating, walking, helping your family ,meeting friends and doing hobbies. (for me doing something that is not using my brain)
I work out an hour a day but the Xanax seems to keep me from having a breakdown. If I had insurance it would be a therapist also.
