Hey EY folks in GPS (BD Pursuit manager roles) what is the average salary for an associate director level?

Do tech consultants make market rates? Maybe my perception is a bit warped because I’m getting paid 85k 3.5 YOE. Jumping to industry as a software engineer and will make 165k. Are consulting companies just shafting tech folks?

What salary should i expect for PwC SDC- Associate in Cloud Engineering with almost 2years of experience in IBM as System Administrator role?
Current CTC- 4.34 LPA.

How do you determine equity amount for key employees or strategic hires? Is there an ideal way to do the math that is fair?

Have an offer from a dream company but I'll need to go in at a lower level. Knowing that I can bring a lot of value to the company (read- I know my worth), I negotiated with the hiring manager to have a level/comp review 6 months after employment. If I hit all my goals (ie, prove myself) within that time frame, I'll get a promotion and salary adjustment.
QUESTIONS:
Should this be in writing in the offer letter?
How detailed should it be? I assume I won't know what goals to set till I start...

I have a question. I work as an assistant manager been a manager for a while worked for the company for 6 years. I know crew gets paid a dollar less than me yet a do a lot ( its part of my job ) I asked for a raise I was told wait 3 months. Waited I asked again was told I needed to do this this and that. I feel like I'm under paid, but I love my job and crew.

HR is not ready to share the exact budget they have (weird!! because HR usually give the idea of how much they can offer )

HR is asking me to expect something on top of the current offer I am holding.

Can partners comment whether Pwc is having another round of layoffs. This is so scary! Shouldn't they rid of partners who can't sell first?! Or pause hiring? Opp. cost to find and train talent again?

Suggested books or resources to learn more about strategy consulting? Different analysis, acronyms, etc.

Fellow frequent flyers: last year was the 1st year I attained airline status. Does United gold expire on 2/1? Will I be downgraded to silver till I catch up again or is there a fast track challenge?

One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

What are some good books that helped you with consulting? Looking for some good reads.

Is getting a cert every month or even every 2 months doable? In the analytics field and had goals to get a couple of specific certs this year (one is scheduled, and another I have to take within 2 months, and there were 2 others I had planned to get before end of this year) but want to make sure I’m not setting myself up to fail by doing them too quickly

Deloitte fish: I’m an alum trying to do some retirement planning. I was an SM2 vested in the pension plan (I worked in DTTL for 7 years ending 2013) and want to find out what my actual benefits will be and at what age. I have no paperwork and 800-Deloitte does not seem to have a way to route me to the right people. Does anyone have a human contact or procedure that can help me get this info?
