Hey guys, I have around 6 years of Software/data engineering experience. I'm looking for a career change towards either Financial/Market analysis or Portfolio Management side. I'm nearly 28 and happy to start again from the bottom.

Unfortunately my organisation doesn't support any career changes. I also don't know anyone in that field. What would my first step be and what would be the path in achieving it?

I was wondering if the review course “CPE Self Study Course” for the CFF was enough preparation to study and pass the CFF exam. The CFE review course was enough and like if you get a question wrong it explains it well so that when it comes up in a different way in the real exam you can still get it. But when I saw the outline for the CFF material and there seems to be a lot of topics so I was wondering if the review course was sufficient considering this exam is also multiple choice. Thanks!

For those that have worked at a Bulge Bracket and an Elite Boutique, I’d love to hear you compare/contrast your experiences.

Nyc based. Is it at all possible to make at least 200 base in corp dev or strategy at a tech company? Super burned out but don’t want to take a paycut in base. I realize I’ll never make all in comp the same in tech but if I can match base I’d be content.
