I'm a top performing rep at my current company and have been here over a year. During the course of that time I've been thinking about what I really want to do and wanna lean into Consulting and give it a try.

So a couple questions:

Is this a possible career change coming from tech sales?
Any tips you guys have?
Are there any connections I should make or is there anyone who'd help me make this transition? (i.e. referrals, step by step help, outside connections)

Data analytics or fullstack developer?
If I want to switch from non IT.

Have 3 busy seasons of big4 audit experience and going on 3 years in the finance/ops department of a F75 company. CPA and I’ve always been a top performer. I don’t have any interest in accounting and Primarily work on and enjoy improving processes at my company and am thinking about trying to do some type of process improvement consulting for financial service firms. Does anyone have any insight on this type of career or a similar path?

Management consultant evaluating an offer from Google’s Go-to-market team (Strategy & Operations) in India. Two questions:
1. Given it’s an internal consulting role, are the hours equally bad / worse than consulting firms?

Should I get a CPA for Transaction Due Diligence?
I’m a new grad working in FDD and I’m trying to decide if becoming a CPA is worth it. I do not plan on staying in accounting in the future. I’m more interested in strategy work. I certainly do not want to do Audit. Would you recommend getting the CPA considering my career aspirations? Do you think it’s worth it? If not, what is the best way to use my time efficiently?

Detour or shortcut, my goal is to be in strategy consulting. Is it better to just wait for a couple more years and then go directly into strategy consulting? Are IT DD and ODD experience viewed favourably by strategy consultants?
