1) Do an MBA from a Tier-1 school such as IIM ABC, ISB (if doing it from India) for getting the network and a strong brand in the spaces
2) for PE, I’d recommend switching to investment banking instead of consulting (unless you’re heading to MBB)
3) For VC - get involved with the startup ecosystem around you, maybe even work as a consultant for a few startups to demonstrate steep interest in the space, and network with investors
4) no certifications or side projects will really help (exception- maybe CFA level 3 for PE)
