I applied for a job at Visa and was contacted the same day. A few days later I had a 30-minute screening interview with the hiring manager. I knew I was very early in the process since the job had only been posted for a few days. It's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after reaching out to the recruiter. At what point do you draw the line on WLB? Working insane hours on a long/term project with what feels like no end in sight. It’s not sustainable but clearly expected. Could you get fired for drawing lines in the sand and saying (example) “come 8:30 every night I’m logging off”. That’s a 65 hour work week as-is but I currently am up until midnight working consistently.
