Side hustle or startup ideas for someone who isn’t technical/doesn’t code? Where should I look or where to begin? I don’t have any strong passions or specific skills that I’m confident in. What books, articles, blogs, orgs, events, people I should follow for inspiration that has helped you? My group’s billable hours have been low the last few years, so making partner will be nearly impossible, and a counsel position is not viable long-term in my group. What’s the best option here if partnership is the ultimate goal? Try to get a NEP/counsel position at another firm, which is likely difficult in my market, or offer to take a class cut by a few years?

Any thoughts on the best certifications to get in order to help move forward? I have considered the CCP from World at Work, but it’s fairly pricey to get by the time you wrap up everything. I was looking at both SHRM-CP and SPHR. Everyone that I have spoken to has the SHRM, but that’s also only looking at individuals in a small geographic footprint and within 3-4 different companies. When you look to choosing a position to apply for and lets assume you get to be choosy - will you go for a org with big HR team or smaller HR team? Currently an hrbp for a medium global org with 10 hrbps in the Americas org supporting different groups/ regions like i support canada and a business group - looking at a role where hrbp report to sr hrbp and she reports to Vp of HR. The TA Manager reports to the VP of Hr as well. Sounds like a smaller HR team - are there any benefits to this move?

Some recruiter in Accenture lined me up for an interview for a role which was not in my skillset ( by saying that this is just an evaluation exercise and they will map me to the right role) and obviously I got rejected. Now I see that I am not eligible to apply the role which I was targeting for the next 6 months.
