I am currently interviewing at TikTok for the Content Partnerships Lead role. Can anyone share some insight into the salary bands in the Sub-Saharan African market? Should I benchmark with the global rates?
Any tips and experiences interviewing in this region are also welcome - and highly appreciated! :)

Any IDOs you know of or how would you stay informed on airdrops for good projects? Looking at something like Klima that airdropped 100 coins to holders of $1000 NFTs on its launch. Those coins are worth $200,000 now. 200x return in a month. Do you basically need to poke around discords and get lucky?

What type of experience do you have. Are you still in school. Look into seasonal work away from home that'll give you both housing and experience
Show your face/follow up. Go in and say “Hi my name is…did you by chance have an opportunity to look over my application?” It shows initiative. Trust me, I know how hard it is to put yourself out there— and I’m an adult. You got this
You’re very welcome. I’m wishing you all the luck in the world
Same but I’m 21
Apply directly to their website and follow up the next day with a phone call
The best advice I can give you is just drive around to many places and drop off resumes between the hours of 2-4. You’re almost at a 75% chance you’ll get an interview on the spot and hired that day. Most managers have looking at resumes as a secondary thought until something serious happens at the restaurant. Like a no call no show. Some managers takes weeks or months before they look at applications.
I’ve hired about 90% of my teams from people walking in.
If you don’t have experience getting a serving job will be harder.
And some states require you to have a pour permit which is only accessible to people 18 or older per state law( find out about your state laws) if they don’t do alcohol like Waffle House then getting a serving job before 18 is easier.
Anyways without experience you can note academic accomplishments as I would personally be impressed by those things. (Tells me you’re smart and potentially capable of simple serving tasks)
Any experience is experience
As a GM of several restaurants over the years, Chili’s,Olive Garden, the brand usually prefers their restaurants to not hire seasonal or pt. I’d interview, and I know you don’t want to hear this, but I’d stay away from restaurants as a pt, and go into your field if possible. Restaurants use and throw people away most times when their seasons up.
Would they consider me if I had cafeteria work experience or is it still better to avoid restaurant areas? I’m only allowed part time since I’m still in high school, and it’s definitely made job searching a little bit harder.
