Hey! So I just accepted a job in nyc for a Customer Success Manager position. I am (was) very exciting about the opportunity, until I saw the benefits package. It’s essentially nothing imo. There’s no 401k, no healthcare until after 90 days, 14 pto days, and 7 paid holidays.

I live in nyc and I’ve never had an offer like this. What should a base salary be? I was told by the recruiter there’s no point and negotiating so I’m not really sure what to do now. Any thoughts/advice would be appreciated

Hi All. I moved to a new company , I just got my take home salary and my current pay is less that previous pay ,because of different state and other taxes. My new company is better but the pay is demotivating me . It is almost $500 less per biweekly pay check . What to do get out of the demotivation? Throughout my career, I have worked at both “traditional” and “digital” shops. My current agency would fall under traditional but also offers digital services. Our process, roles and skillsets seem way outdated but I wasn’t sure if it was just my opinion or if this is just how it works. For example, we have no CTO or tech leads. Our digital producers feel more like project managers than actual producers. Account Management is just traditional, no real digital knowledge. Feels layered and dated.

I am not in account but would love to have a more comprehensive take away from meetings particularly client feedback verbalized. How do you account folks do it? Tips and tricks? Thank you!
