I'm looking for an HR role in India. I'm an MBA -HR graduate and currently working as a PMO analyst.

My joining date is coming closer, however education background checks are still processing ( international degrees) . My onboarding coordinator told me that I can still join even if education check is still in progress, provided there wont be any flags. I don’t see any issue with my degrees and have done same with my past companies.
Anyone experienced this ? Any problem joining while check is processing ?

It’s review season at my agency. I’m struggling with what goals to put down or things I want to learn. Not because I think I’m perfect (ha) but because our job description gets so amorphous as we elevate. I’ve been an Account Director for about 3 years. I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.
