Hi ad friends, looking for a bit of advice as a recent grad:

I graduated in June and I haven't been able to find opportunities for work since then. I've applied to ~50 internships, junior positions, etc. but I haven't had any luck so far. No interviews or phone calls, just rejections & ghosting. I find it hard to network because I have a hard time carrying a conversation without it seeming desperate for work/referral (even though I am). Any advice for stepping up my job search game?

On interview days, do you take adderall / concerta? I’m nervous that it can make me seem more robotic / less personable during cases etc.

I have 5 YOE in Analytics... always thought I wanted to be a DS, but every job (even the junior ones) required experience in ML development. Though I am part of the ML project, I'm not the person develop the model. And I have a hard time when the interviewer ask about how I develop the model and what hyperparameters I tuned. I know the thought process and stuff but 'I' wasn't the one who did that part in the project. How to convince them that I could do the job without taking credit of others.

Feel like everytime I have a potential job the moment I interview face to face it all falls apart. Are there certain key mistakes you guys notice that detract from someone even if they have good work?

I am roughly 4 months away from finishing my clerkship in the US District Court, and am looking for a big law litigation associate position in NY or DC, but have had only a few interviews and have yet to receive an offer. Any advice?

Hi fishes, I have recently attended an interview with Accenture India Accenture couple of days back and can see the candidature status is on hold after my 1st round of interview. Does this mean that they are waiting for others to complete their interview or am I rejected? If not ,how many days they tak appxm to make a decision. Is it too much to ask a home health company for someone to shadow/orient? I was just hired PRN and that was something I asked for during the hiring process and the recruiter agreed. Never heard back and it’s been several weeks yet keep getting texts from the schedule if office to see patients. Is this typical for home health or a red flag? Any advice on how to handle an ECD in charge of your salary who says the only way to get a promotion or even a COL raise of any kind is through winning an award? Not consistently reliable and solid performance. Not keeping the client happy and profitable. “You either win an award, or all ya get is to keep your job.”
