It's fine. Even I joined hcl with 3 months gaps between companies. I didn't put one of my company . Don't show that company when you fill the forms. So there won't be any background verification initiated for the company
Then what is the problem in showing this experience??. It wouldn't make much difference since u already have secured the offer letter.
May i know, how long did it take post HR discussion to get the offer letter? I have been waiting since more than a month now!!!
You can mention that you worked as a freelancer to set up your own business providing IT solutions or pursuing another venture. However, things didn’t go as expected, so you decided to return to a corporate job. This explanation often works when addressing freelancing gaps—many people, including myself, have used this approach to cover similar situations. Ultimately, it’s your decision. If you have a better option, feel free to go with that.
May be instead of big companies i can opt for mid size companies they will also create this issue?
Just check your Relieving and Experience letter from your last employer. If termination has not been mentioned there, then you are good to go for HCL.
Do not tell to HCL Tech the reason for leaving previous employer in 3.5 months. Just tell you were in support project but hired for development (Assuming you're a developer)

They should provide you with relieving letter also, they can't just terminate someone without pay or relieving. It's illegal
