1. Does company provide free transportation in Bangalore?
2. How is work culture and WLB in Caterpillar?
3. What does rank 23 or 24 mean? Is it similar to Senior Manager or what?
4. Are there any firings happening in the company (similar to other product based companies like Meta, Oracle etc. )
5. How is the promotion / hike scenario in the organisation?

I had a stellar annual review! However, I was advised not to expect a raise since I got a promotion a few months ago that bumped my income substantially. Thoughts??

Hey folks. Question for the majority of us still under the big 3 holding co’s...are raises a thing anymore? I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking. Have y’all been getting raises/bumps in any kind of regular cycle? Thx.

Received an offer for an internal promotion and the verbal offer differed from the written offer. Specifically, the bonus verbalized was 2% higher than the offer letter. HR basically just said ‘sorry, our mistake the letter is right’. What would you do?

My firm has applied for my L1A visa. If that gets denied, my plan is to travel to Canada and re enter US immediately on B1/B2 visa (already have valid B1/B2 stamp) so that I'll get time to figure out things here in the US (sell my stuff, handle my bank accts etc).
