Hi all. I'm currently working at HCL Technologies in the role of Pre-sales / Sales Support.. My CTC is 14.3 lpa INR with 2.5 years of relevant experience and 6.5 overall. I got job opportunities in T systems (Role - Solution Design Consultant, CTC - 20 lpa, location - Pune), Sutherland (Role - Product Pre-sales, CTC - 22 lpa, location - B'lore) and ISG (Role - IT Sourcing consultant, CTC - 23.6 lpa, location - B'lore). Which one would be a better option to take?

Due to a recent company-wide increase and additional pay for bilingual direct reports I am only making a dollar and change above them as their supervisor. I was hired into this position in March, having been the first employee in this department. I really tried to get them to budge on salary, they did not, but shortly after accepting they gave the whole company a dollar raise.

Any suggestions on how this might be addressed?

As a 20+ year lawyer with no big law experience (smaller and mid size firms plus government and in house experience), would a BigLaw firm even consider me? Perhaps an of counsel position? Even a senior associate?

For those who moved from a client serving role to an internal role in public accounting while at a fairly high level (experienced manager or senior manager), did you take a pay cut or does your pay stay flat when you transition with minimal increases in subsequent years? Also what role are you in now? I really like EY and the company. I’d like to look at moving to an internal role but I’m worried I’ve priced myself out (currently at around 140k comp in LCOL).

What are your strategies for completing work efficiently? How do you figure out how long projects should take? A consistent piece of feedback on my yearly reviews has been that I over-bill & spend too much time on assignments.
