Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. But I was alao told kaiser offers a dollar each year as a raise. I want a place I can grown and stsy Long term. Any one have any insight on kaiser and what they offered.UCLA Health Kaiser Permanente

1) im assuming this is your first performance review? I would ask around to ppl u are cool with, to get the scoop on percentages (my last job only did up to 4%). Usually a company has a max that they won’t go over, so you can be prepared from there.
2) have you considered asking for a raise BEFORE the review? This was the scariest thing I did but soooo glad that I did! Do your research, make your points (just as you stated above), practice your speech (NEVER mention you loans or anything non work related! They don’t care! Your job is not responsible for helping you pay back your loans) and try and get a one on one with your manager in a few weeks. Remember the raise is already calculated by the time your review comes up so it’s unlikely that you can counter and ask for more (never hurts to try tho!). But if you ask for a raise before the review, even if you do t get it, at least your manager will have an idea of what you are looking for!
Good luck!!!
