PwC India Hi folks,
I graduated with Master studies in business at Singapore, and recently moved to India. I am currently looking for a consultant role in strategy functions at big4 in India. Here in India, most of the roles in MC & strategy advisory fills through referrals and campus recruitment, and not posting on the websites. I’d like to connect with people at big4 strategy functions for referrals and to know more about the firms operations
Thanks!

McKinsey & Company I received an offer from McKinsey & Company in 2021 and I’ll be starting later this year after graduation. Obviously because of the pandemic, inflation is slowly trending upwards. Has anyone asked for a base salary increase before even starting the job? Any advice on how to approach this?

The main advantage is portability to other brokers...I’d be surprised if you can hold fzrox at any other brokerage firm...also, VTSAX can’t be held at every brokerage firm, but it can be converted for free into VTI (the etf equivalent) and that can be held virtually anywhere. That might be a significant advantage depending on several factors...for one, I value that because at a moment’s notice, I want to be able to electronically transfer my assets to Interactive Brokers for cheap margin rates(less than 2%) and value being able to move brokers easily. That’s the primary factor in that decision.
All of the major brokerages offer funds that more or less track the same indices. Vanguard seems to be the most common (I use it myself for my post-race investments) but if you're happy with Fidelity then keep using it and invest in their funds instead

Just compare their performances. FSKAX and VTSAX are both total market funds and their performance is only a couple bps off of each other, so there’s no practical difference. This is true for most index funds regardless of the broker
