Recent lateral junior associate in brand new practice where I'm the only associate. I'm probably going to bill 1,500 hours max this year due to being very slow and taking time off for a delayed honeymoon which I disclosed during my interview process. I have been told my work product is good, I don't turn anything down, I participate in non-billable work, I'm responsive and I always let people know I'm available to help. Do I need to be worried about getting fired for low hours?

Hello! I’m based in NYC and looking for my next role. I work in the digital strategy/brand strategy space. I have experience across multiple industries (tech/telecom/Pharma (dermatology)/beauty and skin care and I am looking for a Director or VP role (my last job was a VP). I would like to keep my base of at least $180k (is this reasonable if I look for Director positions too?) Would love to land something soon before we hit the holiday season. Do you fly out to family for the holidays or do they come to you? We're hosting Christmas for the first time and having the entire family come to town for it. What are some can't miss holiday events in the city? Ideally accessible because my father is in a wheelchair.

How does one tell their boss (owner of the company) that you are burnt out? The sheer volume of work is exhausting and I haven’t taken a true vacation as we are a small company so if something urgent comes to my email I feel like I must respond. I was given an additional title and more responsibilities last year as well but only a 3% raise for it.

Recently USI Kolkata sent an email and asked about employees willingness to come in office if they start the office in the new location near sector 5 untill technopolis building is ready. They asked how many days I want to come in office.....
My answer was 0 day. 😀

Office may be inaugurated by 15th of August, Seating Capacity might be 250 as of now. For Audit Dept 50 seats will be there.
I want to know if WFH can be extended for few months unless proper seating capacities are confirmed.
