Huge difference between corp dev and PE. You seem to be relatively acquisitive so that’s good. But I’m surprised you’re able to do 6-9 deals a year on 30% time. Are they tiny deals? What industry are you in? How much work do you do on the deal vs pass off to others?

You could prob make the move without having to waste time on a mba
Thanks for color. ~30% normally (6-9 small standard deals/year) and been running a transaction (PE selling off our firm) for about 18-months now in an on-and-off process so closer to 80%.
What are you doing for those deals? When I was in corp dev, other than the initial valuation + corp strategy, 90% of the deal was PMO and herding cats across all the internal diligence teams... Based on what you've said, should be relatively straightforward to transition to a different corp dev role. PE is completely different and would be a significantly harder sell
