Hi, does anyone know about any good weekend or evening/ night part time jobs or side hustles that might be doable for someone who works full time/ overtime in a day job? I work Mon-Fri in a very demanding salaried position that often has me working until 8pm,9pm,10pm but need another stream of revenue because I’m paycheck to paycheck and have had difficulties making ends meet. I’m not able to earn more at my current job so need something else part time.

If a firm has multiple openings that you’re interested in, is it a good or bad idea to apply to more than one position? I’m a third year interested in retooling from lit to general corp, but they prefer someone with 3+ years of corporate experience. They’re also looking for an M&A with 1+ years, so it may be easier to aim for that, but I’ve heard horror stories re WLB for M&A. Would still try it out tho bc I’m desperate to leave lit, but don’t want to make a faux pas. Any insights appreciated!

How many hours are you IBD guys REALLY working. Everyone says 80+ hours but never seem to be around when you need them

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? Or can I actually find a senior PMM role that allows a bit more room to breathe?

So what’s the best agency right now, in terms of culture, work/life balance (lol), and work?

Should I take more initiative? It’s my stub year and I’m getting worried. My hours have been super low the past two months, I’m talking like maybe billing 3-4 hours a day and billing no hours on multiple days. I ask for work but the tasks I get don’t require a lot of time.
