NGL this thing looks dope

Cisco interviewed me for 3 months for a couple of roles and then offered me comp that is considerably less than my current comp for a product manager role!! They also said its cisco policy to not offer rsu for mcol cities. Rsu is apparently only meant for candidates in hcol cities.
Need to punch a bag every day for several days to get over this bs.

Depends… NYC area base is looking like 40-50k plus incentive (you’ll get a 1k bonus every month for first 12 months as part of the incentive plan to get you rolling)…
Most bankers in an average traffic location could earn about 3k in incentive per month once you’re out of the bubble wrap (licensing, training and build a semi robust pipeline).
So I’d say first year you’d be looking at minimum of 52-62k (bare minimum). Most bankers will beat the guarantee by month 2 or 3… so I’d be looking first year mid 70’s.
As an RB you’re looking mid 70’s to 80’s if you stay in role assuming you average out at 3k incentive per month.
I wish I could, I’ve been trying to get answers on why I can’t dm anyone since yesterday… I will shot you a dm soon as I get proper feedback

Gotcha
I appreciate your response! I'm going through the second part of the interview process next week, and around 55k is what I want to negotiate. How do you suggest that I present myself worthy of that amount? (coming with customer service and sales experience of over ten years and a approx. two years in financial services)
Yes, I am. I passed the first interview and will have a second interview next week with the branch manager. I appreciate your help, but I am unsure how to DM on here - can you message me? If not, I don’t mind sharing other platforms we can connect on, like LinkedIn.
