Hi! Does hourly rate shown on a WIP have any bearing on a team member’s salary in IFS? Asking for a promo in IFS (currently AS for SA role) and trying to figure out if I would see much of an increase. My counterpart was the SA on the team (he left) so I’m looking at his old role. I looked at our rates on the WIP and see his hourly unbilled eng. value as a SA is the same rate as mine as an AS (??) We were both hired on at the same time 3 years ago. Just trying to be prepared to be letdown I guess

Spoke to hiring manager and they even offered another position which matched my skills. Scheduled a full panel interview. Met with the team had a great chat, Founder even said "I guess you can start right away"..Hiring manager calls later says they'll update then boom that generic email hits my inbox. I’m trying to pivot to PM after >3 years in finance and I have a 2nd round interview with CPO this week. Company has 3.7 on Glassdoor with complaints about CEO, “bro-y” culture, and hard to wfh. It’s a data analytics company with 5 PMs, was bought by a PE firm this year, and has a new (female) CEO as of Oct. Role is 50/50 hybrid, pays well vs what I make, and most importantly would be a foot in the door to PM. Is this a good place to be for PM? What else do I need to find out to know for sure?

I was promoted to manager in Jan but received an offer with a 35% salary increase and much cheaper health insurance outside the firm. I am 85% sure I’ll take the offer, but wanted to see if anyone could think of acting I may be missing out on by leaving? FYI my inflation increase was larger than my promotion increase and my student loan payments also were stopped since I’m no longer an SA. I think what is holding me back is my guilt for my immediate team but just want to check.
