I have 6.9 YOE as a Data Engineer. My current CTC is 12.79 LPA (10% variable), and I work a permanent night shift, earning 1200/day as a shift allowance and on an average I get 21000/month
I'm looking for a job change and asking for 22 LPA, but most MNC's & big 4 are offering only 16–18 LPA. I don't see much increase in my take-home salary, as I'll earn almost the same as I do now.
How should I negotiate in this situation? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Fishes, Got a call from SAP for functional role .I have 10 yrs exp in SAP functional skill , how much can I ask for compensation. Since when I asked 50% hike recruiter behaved abnormally and denied it.

Just got offered a job at a small biotech in London (UK). ~£45k plus bonus but only 1YR FTC and no equity.

Its base is 15L, and I'll be getting 124800 in-hand.

I have 3.5 yoe in typescript/react/NEXTjs fullstack. Out of which only 10 months are on a full time role, rest of time was freelancing.

One of my friend is having 1 offer in hand and she has signed offer letter with agreement for joining that company only and not to accept any offer from any other company ( even hike from current company ), what will happen if she deny to join that company? In agreement it describes that if candidate joins or accepts another offer then candidate will have to pay two salaries as per the offer letter.
