Over a year ago, I lateraled from a firm doing mostly land use/development to a volume lender debt finance practice. By volume I mean I’m on 15+ deals a day. I don’t think this is for me….anyone have any other CRE practices that they enjoy? ZS fish, Is there a Senior Consultant level at the firm? I am currently a M3 in Lighthouse at 174k base (7.5YoE) doing data science.
If SC doesn't exist, is Manager a good level to target, or is Consultant more like it? Looking for 200k base at a minimum.
Expect my current year TC to be around 200-210k.

Within my first year of Consulting, really struggling with the hours amongst other things. Spoken to a couple of people internally and the advice is to get on to projects with bigger budgets and therefore bigger teams/more support. I want to wait until I hit the one year mark before making a decision on whether Consulting is for me or not. Curious to hear from other experienced hires..how is/was your first year?
