Hi everyone. I was recently diagnosed with inattentive ADHD (male 38). I take 20mg Aderall twice a day and It’s working for me to some extend but it really killed my sex drive. Today the doctor prescribed 150mg Wellbutrin in addition to Aderall.

Anyone else here on the same boat? I don’t like taking too much medicine so I’m skeptical. Also, do you guys take any other supplements OTC to increase cognitive abilities? I hear that Omega3 and l-tyrosine can help.

Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.

Anyone here have comorbid anxiety and/or depression? How did you know, and how do you manage it now? I think I might be struggling with one or both and I’m trying to figure out how to proceed. Not currently seeing a therapist or medicated, managing based on strategies I learned from an ADHD coach back in college, so at minimum I would need to find a provider, which has been a barrier (cost-wise, finding someone with experience with ADHD, etc.)

Anyone any advice how / where to get tested for ADHD in NYC? I received a lengthy list of providers from my health insurance (UHC) but either can’t reach anyone or they tell me they only do therapy and no testing.

My psychiatrist recommended for me to try Ritalin. I’ve been on Dexedrine for a few months, and I’m not really having negative side effects.

Here is my current cocktail: Caffeine 400mg (200 when I wake up then another 200 when I go to the gym 30 minutes later), Modafinil 150, Bupropian XL 150. I used to take adderall but it made me crazy for lack of a better word. Looking to add a stimulant for focus. Suggestions? Currently deciding between Ritalin and Vyvanse. My psychiatrist today revealed to me that I may have ADHD, still a hypothesis that he is still exploring but from my personal experiences and discussions with therapist, it seems likely.

One example of personal experience is my ongoing prep for case studies as I'm interviewing with a number of firms. I do struggle to keep focus and generally take a bit longer to finish them, specifically the structuring of the case. Does anybody else feel the same way and any recommendations to overcome this?
