Hello Sharks, I recently gave interview of Tiger Analytics and after all successful technical discussion, they were offering me Senior analytics - data Science role for 15.5 fixed + 2L jb, considering my current yoe 4.3 and in data science relevant is not much(consider it 1.5+) but my cctc is 14(13fixed+1 variable), I denied to accept this offer. I would recommend looking at CRA (monitor) roles if you have atleast 3 years of CRC experience. The pay is significantly more.
It does not require anything more than a Bachelors, but if you want to continue to promote into management, it helps to have a masters.
MPHs are pretty common in my field. I would recommend that over say, Masters in Clinical Research.. it may see odd, but if you look at the curriculum for Clinical Research Masters, its all just stuff you learn from CITI and GCP. If you plan to invest in the next higher ed step, challenge yourself with something adjacent to the field, but not exactly the field. MPHs have a lot of flexibility and you will learn things that help bring a diff perspective to whatever field you go into. It may segway well to public policy roles too depending on your thesis focus. I didnt get an MPH but a Medical Science Masters with the intention of going to medical school, but I decided to go a different path. I was CRC for 4 yrs and went to get my masters. When I finished, I was picked up quickly for a CRA role given experience and Masters and have been able to promote quickly too, fortunately. I see the same for my colleagues with MPHs.
You may be able to start as an entry level CRA. Some companies will pay for a masters too as a perk of your employment (AROs will usually do this - Academic Research Organizations)
I would agree with the last comment. I started as a CRC, went into central monitoring at a CRO, and then decided to enter the CRA training program my company offered.
Hi, you can go on clinical research associate ( CRA) , clinical research assistant, which would be easy in person who have CRC experience and paying good salary.
In expanding your Education, I think it depends where you want to be involved in the future. For instance researcher wise or administrative/ managerial positions. But you can do like project management course which would be great advantage for your career progression.
I wise this could help you.
Best regards,
