Hi everyone, I’ve been a corporate accountant for 5 yrs, focusing on revenue, and passed the CPA exams. My goal is to become an accounting manager at a large public company. Many roles prefer public accounting experience, so I’ve considered pursuing it, but friends in B4 and smaller firms say it’s not necessary. I’ve applied for audit roles but haven’t gotten interviews. I even consider studying for a master's degree just to get into B4. I am confused what to do Any advice would be appreciated!

I’m currently looking to build a career within the ESG consulting and strategy space. I am in a career transition phase and have a tax consultancy background from a Big 4 for 5+ years. However, I believe I have gained some skills that are transferable to ace at ESG consulting as well. While I am still in the process of upskilling myself and gaining the required knowledge, could you help me with referring my CV or with some leads? 

Does anyone have tips on how to prepare for interviews? I do fine on panels and personal interviews. But Every time I have an on camera interview about a project where I have practiced key points to hit- I tend to blank and get over whelmed.

From the personal experience..if u r attending amazon interviews..pls discuss abt the package and the band prior to interview schedule.. or else it s jus a waste of time... band 4, 5 or whatever should be in the Jd.. don't go with verbal communication... thy ll change the plate quite often

Audit lay off people during recession ?

Starting to see a lot of compensation threads and even within the same city, the variance of salary is really noticeable. I didn’t expect the spread to be this high, especially in high COL areas.
