If someone leaves as a staff 2 auditor and then has a year or so of internal audit experience but eventually wants to go back to public accounting - should the expectation be that they should look for a senior position or a staff position? CPA would have been achieved already with a masters of accounting for reference too.EY @
My black boss would be put on another account when she's back from maternity leave. I feel slighted by this because 5 mins after the SVP told me this IT was communicated to the entire team. Asking around the new VP seems very difficult to work with and comes from an agency where I know the VPs are hella racist. I'm thinking of giving her a week before updating my resume or should I wait till my black boss comes back?
That’s a bummer about the change in boss. Don’t wait around till your old boss comes back- start looking for a new job now. Also you were doing your boss’s job while she was out, sounds like you should be applying for that job somewhere else.
Curious what you think your boss will be able to help you with when she returns? Sounds like she's got her own issues to work out being transferred while on Pat leave. Do you want to stay and see if you can work with your new boss? If so, give it a little time. If not working for your boss is a deal-breaker bounce.
