You can earn well in sourcing and procurement too. You just need to horne your skills in category management and procurement practices. It is just a matter of time and opportunities. If you feel like you're stuck with no way to grow in terms of your knowledge or pay, make a switch now but try not to get into service companies like Infosys or tcs. You should focus on other industries like banking, healthcare, insurance, retail or any other in house procurement role. This will help you build your skills and your base pay. I won't speak about my pay over here, but i can tell you that with 12 years of experience in this domain i have seen my pay and that of my peers multiply about 10 fold thanks to upskilling, perseverance, focusing on the right career and industry switches and most of all patience. How is the work life balance in Citi?

Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?

Why TCS is so rude and self proclaimed kinda. I declined TCS offer last year as they were giving very less CTC.
