I have been working with Cognizant for over 2 years now. The client that I’ve been working with recently asked me to apply for an internal position with them. I did so, however, now the client is saying that they are not planning to disclose this information to Cognizant and that I shouldn’t too.
I am sceptical about this situation. Can I be in trouble for joining the client’s company?

Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. I have BS degree in healthcare professions and wanted to know if 40k is too low of salary to start off as a compliance officer for a pharmacy that provides discounted medications. Recently another teammate, who has only been here for 3 months was offered between 80-85k to retain her, but she declined to make 6 figures as a COO. I, in-turn, am asking for an increase in salary. Today i got call from my recruiter and she informed me that my offer letter will be revised . Prev the offer was 15.90 LPA . Now the revised offer contains 17.10 LPA . I was quite surprised with this behaviour .
My DOJ is 21st feb 2022. Designation - sr. Associate - projects

Is there anything worried about this ? Anyone faced this kind of approach ? Kindly suggest
