Hello Fishes, Our project management asked us to return the assets by Oct 1st. They are forcing us to pick any upcoming Saturday's to return the assets, that to we need to report the office by 10 am to return the system. Does this "return to pick up" option in Ultimatix still works or we need to go to office only to return the system.? Tata Consultancy

I recommend to pick IBM in terms of work culture, compensation and lot of learning opportunities to upskill/cross skill to groom yourself. It will added advance of your profile if your are an employee of IBM. Global regonization
Thanks for your valuable suggestion. I’m also considering IBM between these offers.
Hi, I am currently working as a Senior Consultant at Capgemini, Noida. My experience includes:
Senior Consultant – Capgemini (2025–Present)
Specialist – HCL Technologies (2019–2025) working as SIAM Change Manager at SKF
System Engineer – TCS (2017–2019)
With this background, could you please guide me on what CTC range I can realistically expect in the market for similar Senior Consultant?
I have seen that many employees having only 12 LPA having 10 YOE.
You’re earning ok but should start on next switch targeting 15-20 LPA range.
Mine is also very less but now I made a switch which will align me towards correct place.
Switching is an important step that we need to take to make our CTC aligned with the current industry standard, because most MNCs only give little yearly appraisal.
Machine Learning Engineer in TCS??
We all know what kind of organization T*S is.
I would suggest go for Capgemini or HCL tech. Both are flexible in terms of WLB
IBM
Normally WLB depends on the project wherever you work. Being Ex-IBMer, would recommend you IBM.
Pros :
Maximum Fixed CTC ~ 3.5 x YOE
Overall better WLB
Never heard proactive, talented people getting laid off.
Beyond CTC you would be getting yearly bonus in March end salary (from next year), amount depends on your project budget, profit and your contribution.
Sometimes they appreciate with Bluepoints (in USD), which you can use for really good value in Rupees.
If your login timing starts from 11am, you can claim for shift allowance for 2nd shift.
If project allows, you can also claim mobile and broadband bills.
They have better budget and salary range while promoting, no fixed duration for getting promoted.
Last but not the least, you might be getting a very good touch screen laptop, if required for higher specifications, they would provide you that as well.
Cons :
Micro-management
Sometimes multiple project/team allocation due to tight budget, less resources, specially if you are able to deliver tons of work, very rare but be careful.
In case you're planning to enroll your parents for health insurance, the corporate health insurance doesn't consider pre-existing disease.
Final suggestion :
If you have time and more aspirations, keep exploring for more, if you can get into product based company.
A big NO for Big 4 due to no WLB
Thanks, I’m very excited and have started packing for Hyderabad😆
I suggest IBM. Not for salary. But you get project directly.
Also, how did you manage 90days notice ?
Yeah, I chosen IBM
How's interview exp
It was having some scenarios based questions and was overall good interview experience.
ibm>hcl>capg
Go for IBM, CG has very low increment percentage.
Correct but still the offer is better than the other two, you can look for switch later.
IBM n Hyderabad, best location and global firm but WLB not sure, it takes out every penny it pays you ,all the best !
