I think you should not quote any number. Let them quote it first. Chances are for the profile you are interviewing for, their band starting point will be more than 20lpa.
If forced, quote 25lpa. You can always say that I was under compensated due to company’s financial condition but you would not like to be penalised any further.
A lot depends on the interview score but Ask for 22 -25 without any hesitation but with reasons like experience & initiatives. Then maybe they will settle you for 18-20 lpa.
Also Byjus is paying 8 lpa for PM role that's suprising. No wonder they failed.
Whats your YOE? A lot would depend on that
For 6 YOE, 20lpa is very reasonable. Your current is very low, which might be a hindrance in getting a higher pay.
To negotiate, find out how your current edtech experience can help healthtech company. If they are sold on that, then 18 to 25 LPA is your range, depending on how good a fit you are, or rather if there isn't anyone else applying to the job whi was a better fit.
