I had interviewed for TCS 2 weeks ago, and today I got a call back for hr for salary discussion. However, I’m awaiting my promotion and hike e-letter to be released on October 13th from my current organisation and wanted to negotiate my salary based on that. So hr told me to connect back once I’ve received my hike letter. Is it advisable to wait or just go ahead with my present salary?

I have submitted my resignation on Aug11th. I received a mail very next day from HR saying salary willbe put on hold for reliving month and immediate previous month will be put on hold as FNF dues.
Now half of the people I asked saying I won't get salary for August as well and half saying i will get salary for August. Can anyone confirm on this?

Guys I know this is very common question. Just in search of better answer. What is the best reply to a relative asking us the salary inspite of we giving them the other overshadowing excuses?

Has anyone decided not to pursue an MBA after running an ROI calc?

Maybe I’m missing something, but even with a median comp out of HBS (top choice, ~$200k total comp), the payback period seems long and IRR seems low.

Totally understand that each person’s situation is unique, but it seems to make sense for people 1) with lower comp, 2) MBA scholarship or 3) desperate need of career pivot.

Any insight is greatly appreciated 🫡

For folks who’ve done R1/R2 interviews at BCG… how useful did you find the CaseCoach courses? I’m a week out before my R1 and I’m wondering if it’s going to be time we’ll-spent. Would love to hear “ignore this, definitely do that” sorts of advice if possible. (For background: I’m familiar with Victor Cheng, I’m using RocketBlocks, practicing live cases, consumed a bunch of YouTube videos, etc.)

Company C - start up and supposed to work at client location Apple

Till today I was planning to join company C but got to know that it is bit harsh towards employees and only cares till we are with the client and once we are out our salary is stopped and even we might be thrown out .

Am nervous and have only 15days left in NP.
