I recently got selected as a full time contractual SDE1 role at amazon, recruiter told me it is gonna be a 1 year contract but in the offer letter my contract is ending after 9 months.

My recruiter is on leave, so I cannot connect with her.

What’s going on? Is this just a mistake?

Any insights on BX London? Specifically the credit platform (ie the ex GSO guys). Culture/comp/near term roadmap?

I have an offer from cognizant for 17.3 lpa fixed for 7 years of experience in sql Dba and I am expecting another offer from KPMG for 16.8 lpa fixed for same role do confirm and let me know which is overall better company with respect to wfb, Annual hike, etc etc.

Do Leidos, SAIC, and other mostly-fed consulting businesses pay bonuses to all levels? If so, what does a typical bonus target look like? Booz Allen does not pay bonuses until you get to the Senior Associate level (1 step below Director) and I think that impacts employee performance and work ethic pretty dramatically. I’m wondering if not paying bonuses is common to federal contracting because of how the contracts or priced, or if this is something unique to Booz Allen.

Hi fishes! I am in final HR discussions with Ericsson. They are offering Job Stage 5 -- 13lpa (not final). Java Spring Boot, YoE 4.5/5.9. CCTC is 7.7lpa and offer in hand is 11lpa. Am I being low balled as per Ericsson's standards?

So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city.
