Interior design work makes me happy but it earns less. How do you guys see about salary cut after transitioning careers, especially I need to re-attend school ( not making money for 2+ years and pay for tuition) if I want to switch the career. Thanks!

I’m trying to move up in my career but struggling due to lack of mentorship//training (staff shortage, everyone is busy) I’m rarely taken on construction sites, and if I am It’s because I pushed for it.
