I am a contractor at legato. Manager says he cannot proceed with full time conversion of my role as their is a hold on hiring at legato due to upcoming recession. Is he saying correct? Or there some other reason. Should I wait for sometime or start looking new opportunities taking it as no.
Is there anyone hiring a Scrum Master?
Anyone ever pivoted from Sales to working in D&I? I’m 3 years out of college and realized I’m not super passionate about Sales. The last time I was really happy doing “work” was in college when I took an active role in Equity, Diversity and Inclusion related events/issues. What roles are there for entry level but some prior experience?
I had a salary discussion with HR from Barclays , according to the break up we discussed it’s only HRA , basics and flexi benefits and employer contribution to PF and gratuity taken care by Barclays. Does it mean the salary would be HRA + basic + flexi benefits / 12 ?

Has anyone gotten an interview just by applying online to Google? I have 2YOE in CX for a unicorn startup and 2YOE in Account Management in an established (but niche) SAAS company. I'd love to transition to AM in either Retail or Travel verticals (my passions)
Please help! I’m a CRC who manages Investigator- led clinical research projects and I want to transition to a PM role in industry (I would slightly prefer not a PM role in clinical trials since I don’t have clinical trial experience.) I’ve applied to PM roles at many biotech companies (e.g. Charles River, ICON, Paraxel) but only got 1 interview which didn’t work out. Which companies should I look to for an entry level PM role? Any good startups to consider? Anyone have any insight or advice?
What is the average salary range for a Senior 1 technology consultant role at EY in NYC? Next levels are Senior 2, Senior 3, Manager , senior manager.
How do people deal with a really crushing, can completely, unfair loss? Filed a motion for temporary child and spousal support and the judge ordered my client to pay more than his salary. Obviously will be filing a motion to reargue and possibly an appeal. But those take forever and in the mean time I have a very upset client. It’s such a misapplication of the law and a horrendous judge but it’s hard to explain that to the client who is obviously very upset and can’t understand how this happened
Anybody working or interviewed at MorganFranklin Consulting? Interviewing for their Senior Consultant role, Strategy and Transformation practice. Looking to get an idea on what kind of work they do and also, what’s their pay range for this role/practice.
HR discussion was completed and got an confirmation email that I've cleared all rounds on Jan 10th. HR was mentioning that the hiring process is on hold. It's been a month already and HR is asking to wait for 1-2 weeks everytime. Will I get offer letter?
I'm interviewing for a Digital Marketing Manager job and am in the third and final round. I have to develop a strategy based off of a case study and then do a 30 minute presentation to a panel of people. I haven't ever done this before. Does anyone have any advice or best practices for this?
Currently a Sr PM in-house in Chicago area, and up for a promotion. What is this step in the agency realm? Role is sort of a Jr manager role over other PMs, larger role in crafting processes and structures of work within creative studio and working with execs to drive change/work, and owning large complex bodies of work. Is anyone willing to share salary in similar role?

I teach PreK in a public school. Our state allows PreK programs to nap without masks if proper ventilation is provided. I have 16 children, a minimum of 3 feet apart, no masks, with two LOUD air filters, two tiny windows open, the outside and hall door open, at average in 72-76 degrees. Hi all, I was wondering how long does the background process take?
I accepted an offer last week, uploaded documents and did i9 verification and finger printing. The reason I am asking is my join date is pretty aggressive. I am joining in one month and that includes moving across state lines.

I got into a car accident Friday and I’m recovering.
Long story short, I hired another designer to support me this week and she’s completely bailed on me leaving me more behind schedule. I missed Friday and Monday & playing catch-up.
Work would include production work and some design centric projects. Please email me your books and rates: email@example.com
How difficult is it to get a job in a language you don't have experience in? I have 7 years of experience in PHP and the job market doesn't seem to have a lot of openings. Lots of Python and Java though. I've applied to a number of these roles and haven't even gotten a phone screen.
Is it me? Or the market?

DOJ currents and formers: how long did it take you to go from applying to a main justice litigating component to your first day on the job? My dream position recently opened up but I was hoping for financial reasons to squeeze out one last biglaw bonus before I go into the government. It’s only March. Is that realistic at all, or am I looking at mid year start if I get the job?

Fishys, I think I found a hustle. Wife and I combined would get $0 back as a Recovery Rebate Credit. We received $4,800 originally (2 kids). If I file her as separate and put both kids on her return can I claim $1,800 as RRC since IRS treated our official stimmy as individual amounts? Letters 6475 say $2,400 for each of us.
Got an offer from another big4 on Thurs. Scheduled a call with MD on Fri bcoz the next Mon was my planned PTO. MD had an idea what it was about but didn’t wanna join. Sent text msg so that we could talk on the phone(since this is the MD’s preferred way of communication) No response. I came back from PTO the next Thurs and pinged the MD right away to talk and was ghosted. turned in my notice on Friday. MD then scheduled a call with me on my last day with the firm. Thoughts on this MD’s behavior?
Why do people in m&a tax make so much more than regular / international? Is the work that much harder / more challenging? It seems like they mostly just coordinate with other teams. Basically like jack of all trades but master of none?
Part of me thinks they can charge higher fees because they’re on a transaction and seen less as a “cost” center. On the sell side they’re helping generate revenue and on the buy side they’re doing the same, although not immediately
