Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

I think that a matter between you and the lord. From what you've described though it seems like its bothering you. If you have no peace then I would kindly refuse the opportunity and just briefly mention something like "gambling is an industry that I'm not comfortable working in because it goes against my family values (have a bad history with it or know people who did), however, I would be happy to help on an engagement in another industry."
If you feel peaceful before the lord to go then don't feel like you're doing the wrong thing either. Jesus was the friend of tax collectors and sinners and maybe the lord is sending you there to share the gospel with someone. Most important thing is to have some fellowship with the lord by prayer or through the Bible or maybe a song/hymn. Hope that helps OP! Praying for you and happy to talk more or pray with you if you want 🙂🙏🏼
Thank you - really appreciate your thoughts. I agree with you that I think in this situation there is freedom to choose as it's a grey area (or at least to me it seems). Will continue to pray on it and see where the Lord leads. God bless! 😊
and it's making money off of people's losses. I know almost everything can be used for or have impacts that are good, neutral, or bad (I think of alcohol, beauty industries, etc.) and it's each individual's choice on how to respond to things, so don't want to be legalistic about it. But I think there's something with gambling since as a business you are wanting ppl to spend (and lose) their money because that is how the business makes money themselves. Thoughts? Also, if you decide you wouldn't want to go on the project, how would you communicate that to the Partner who is staffing you?
