Hi I’m looking to start my own practice. New York licensed, live in VA with my family.

Can we share some experiences about this field please?

I started my own practice with my partner a year ago. I do mostly immigration work in SC. I find the field very rewarding both emotionally and financially. The hardest part starting out for me was determining price points for our fees. This is difficult even now with the expectation that most of the USCIS fees may be increasing in the near future. I also find it difficult to stick to my consultation fee when I already know a persons specific issue they need help with. I’ve used various types of referral services, but the best (for all law firms I would guess) is word of mouth referrals. What else would you want to discuss about the field? I’d be happy to share my experiences. One thing I’m curious about, and I’ll probably start another thread, is what are most peoples fee structures in the family based area of immigration.

COO’s & previous SR. account executives…

I made it to regional manager for a franchise by age 22. Ran a successful financial practice & sold by the age of 33. Took 2 years off and built a health & wellness coaching platform for my wife (medical provider). Then, the last 2.5 yrs, have been a top producer in Saas sales as a senior account executive. I’ve been told I would make a great COO someday and I’m ready to take the next step into leadership. Who/what should I be targeting next?

Hello,
Can we get promotion after the mid year review in CitiusTech?
Or the promotion for the mid year already done?
I see for many people the designation has changed but for me it's not. I was under the impression that the promotion happens after the mid year discussion or after the year end discussion.
Can someone please tell the details and when we can expect the new revised letter mentioning the new designation.

The role is in FinTech

Anyone out there in a role like this? Any books. videos or even best practices to share?

I keep hearing that Booth’s MBA program is rigorous (maybe the most rigorous out of M7). That said, how much more work are students expected to do compared to HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, etc.? I don’t know if this is an outdated opinion, considering a lot of MBAs are very demanding. Booth is personally my top choice for having a flexible curriculum & 2-3 days of classes. But I really want to know what to expect around the “rigorous” label. Does it mean I’ll be buried in coursework the other 2-3 days?

Are immigration firms increasing AOS fees due to the public charge? If so, by how much?

like

I’ve been practicing family immigration for about a year on my own now. I still find myself struggling to find the right fee structure for various visas. Would anyone mind sharing how much they/their firm charges for various visas. One easy example could be, how much would a simple adjustment of status case cost for a spouse of a US citizen? (This would include the 485, 130, 130A, 131, 765, 864, and now the dreaded 944). Also, do you charge extra for RFEs or included in initial price?
