Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

I would love to hear more about the environment at Tastemade specifically so I’m posting here to subscribe to this thread, haha. Wishing you the best of luck, OP!
Thank you!!! Tastemade is the one I am most interested in so any insight would be much appreciated group!
Tastemade is a great place to work. They had a few hiccups with leadership, but that seems to have been corrected. Can't speak to the other firms, as I don't have direct experience with them.
Think about the performance of each company, how they are doing revenue/business wise and how they are viewed in the industry.
Selling ads for media/content is extremely competitive but we all know how popular and successful Tastemade has been over the years. Now compare that to BDG which is even in a more competitive industry and we all know how historically fashion is a toxic work environment, it’s the same for the media companies that cover it. Just think about Condé Nast.
Samba TV is ad tech and that’s probably the most competitive as we all know. samba years ago had a differentiated product and offering but many have caught up from other ad tech players to media companies to the big platforms and hardware providers.
With all that said, it will have an effect on your role and your experience.
I've worked with Tastemade before. Solid group of people when I was there and we had some fun projects. Not sure how it changed after leadership has changed
That's so great to hear! I am curious their staying power in this current marketplace and would love to get your insights.
