Just had my back to back to back interviews with Deloitte USDC, I felt like my scenario based went extremely well and my behavioral just average. If anyone could provide some insight on how long it took for them to get back to you as well as who makes the hiring decision to ease my mind a bit that would be awesome!

I’d say in your next touch base say “you’ve been saying I’m doing the full project manager job, what is the path for promotion?” As a manager I prefer people being direct (tangent - I hate when people are rude and say “I’m direct” no, you’re rude)
As far as rules for promotion - depends on the company and even the department. When you bring it up your manager should tell you. Also your manager might not have the answers and might have to bounce it off their manager so if they say that don’t get indignant, it’s probably true, but hold them to a timeline - “Can I check back next week” if they don’t offer one.

As a sidenote, definitely see if they’ll help cover the cost since they require it to move up.
I would bring it up in the annual review. Some banks only give promotions during that time and it is dependent on if there is space for the promotion. For example, if you're a band 5 but are trying to be promoted to band 4. That can only happen if there is a space or role available at band 4
Often, you can discuss a promotion when you have an annual review. Since you have not been there a full year yet, maybe they're waiting to discuss when you've been there for a year. I know it's different everywhere, but that's my first thought. Enjoy your holiday!
We do annual salary increases every year in February. Do you think it would be worth it to bring this up at the annual review time? And thank you, happy holiday to you too!
If it’s an investment bank with corporate titles (associate, VP, ED etc) you may find that they have a policy about how long you must wait before first being considered for VP - and then there is a process that begins in the New Year and doesn’t culminate until the autumn, if you are successful. And they make a big deal of it, there’s a load of fanfare and a department-wide announcement.
Thankfully in smaller more modern institutions - brokerages, private equity firms, hedge funds etc - there’s a lot less faff and it’s down to whatever you can negotiate. But you should expect to serve a year before getting your first formal promotion.
Usually a year in the current title is a minimum requirement. That said, if you are doing the work of the higher level role and it is documented as such — you *should* be promoted at your next annual review, I’d say. I do generally believe that - and have seen - that the way to get promoted is to do the higher role, you don’t get promoted as much as your title adjusts upwards to the work you are really doing.
It depends on the company to be honest. For instance when I worked for Cerner you had to wait 18 months before trying to switch roles and for the most part that included being promoted. But like others said above, I would be sure to bring it up in your annual review. that really is the best time.
Hi! If you are already doing the job of a project manager, your salary should also be that of a project manager. I know some companies wait for at least a year before they promote their employee.
Same exact boat here. Performing at the same level as higher ups, but not getting the pay/recognition can feel pretty crappy. The dichotomy of getting great exposure in a role but not getting valued properly is a huge struggle for beginning project managers!! Let me know how it turns out!
