hi. working for td bank canada. it is regular occurrence that everyone is working beyond office hours on daily basis. Sometimes have to work till 12-1am in the night. No OT and unrealistic expectations and in turn leading to bad reviews. in case company decides to lay off, can i use phone pictures of emails sent at midnight. my aim is to leverage the proof to have much higher severance (violation of 37.5 hours as per offer letter,unjust work). how can i make myself safe to unjust treatment.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Hello my fellow shoal of fish. I am seeking recommendations for a lounge chair in my office. I currently have the adjustable stand desk and a relatively comfortable office chair (not when reclining) but the other half of my office is empty. Im putting in a 55” tv and need a recliner, lounge chair, or something of the sorts to put in front of the tv. Something where i can put my feet up.
