I have a total of 9 years of experience and 6 years in Data Science. My current designation is a data scientist. I am confused about the designations I have received in 3 different companies. I have aimed to get a senior/lead data scientist role. I don't have experience in deep learning and GenAI, but learning. how much should I be asking?

Capgemini (Manager/C2)- 27+3 (but ready to match next offer)
Genpact (Senior Manager)- 32+3
Elanco (principal data scientist) - Have to negotiate

Is there anyone around here with a combination of Data analytics - Finance & accounts OR Data analytics - Audit OR Data analytics - Risk consulting ? I am currently parr of industry - my role was created right before i joined and everyone is clue less how to utilize the role(I took this up right after graduating my MS) ! I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

If you’re a manager and you see an employee that wants to branch out into a different department, why would you keep them boxed in for 2+ years?

My goal was always to get into a more broad HRBP position, but I've since worked for smaller orgs without a solid HR career path. When I ask about my career goals, they keep telling me, "Soon!" Or "Maybe in 6 months!"

I'm holding an offer from MakeMyTrip and another offer from OlaElectric. Ninjacart is willing to make me an offer. But they're saying that they'd discuss the offer only after the other company that I'm interviewing with has come up with an offer first. There's been a delay from HRs of the companies in a similar way. How do I urge them to send me the offer letter without sounding pushy? I had reached out to some of the HRs myself. Would that be too awkward if I accept & back out their offer?
