Which companies are doing H1b and immediate GC?
Amex offer-Manager-Risk Management.
Base: 30.5 LPA CTC: 36.5 LPA Experience: 5.2 yrs College: Tier 1
Current Profile: Senior Data Scientist
Amex people thoughts on this offer, as I have recently(4 months back) joined a startup with Base(33) and CTC(35.5) but not enjoying the work here. Amex brand tag and culture is good.
Hence, considering the offer, does this offer look good or is there any scope of improvement? Amex American Express
Does JPMorgan entertain counter offers ?
I have an offer of 18.5 lpa including bonus.
At the time of HR discussion, I was under the impression that this will be 18.5 fixed + bonus
I already have 19.5 fixed CTC offer from Emids and Indegene is ready to pay 23 lpa including joining Bonus.
I am keen to join JP morgan but I want to negotiate the offered CTC.
During HR discussion, HR said they'll not entertain any counter offers later on

If you want to change employer before stamping or entering the US:
Your current I797 will not valid for stamping. You have to get new I797 from new employer.
Your new Employer must file a new H-1B petition (called a cap-exempt change of employer, not lottery again)
Once new Employer's petition is approved, that I-797 is used for:
Visa stamping
US entry
Please discuss this with your recruitment HR about this. If you want to utilise your H1B, your new employer should be ready to do this.
Yes. 100k proclamation is required for all applications that need consular processing. So, your case also it will be required.
Your new employer has to do H1B transfer. Not many companies are ready to do this, due to current H1B issues. But if you find one, you can proceed with that. Until then I would say it's better to stay in same company and keep renewing your Visa.
Same for me and i resigned as well. Not sure with the transfer process but felt TCS given on-site salary is less
Yes, as per your case as visa is not stamped so have to ask again your new employer to sponsor you under the new H1B rules.
However, If it was stamped earlier, then your new employer will just approve your already sponsored visa with remark "change in employer".
Travelling in the same boat but my H1B was stamped in 2023 and expired last year.
Now my only option is Out of cap/ H1B transfer
Please provide suggestions.
Why do you want to go to US when the dollar will be falling and people in US would be losing their jobs. 2026-27 is a crisis time in US. If you want to earn then stay in India.
How do you know about this? Is there any genuine source other than the memes circulating over internet.
I'm also in the same boat. And as I understand, as the new employer will have to file the petition again in case of transfer, 100k fees would be applicable. Happy to get myself corrected.
Same doubt I too have. Can anyone give clarity on this, if new employer files transfer petition. Will 100k proclamation be applicable?
Can anyone refer my son who is a software engineer with 3 year experience in cyber security firm to "Palo Alto Networks ".
Is it possible that the new company might deny for transfer? Is there a cost that comes for transferringH1B stamped visa
I am also in same boat. Is the 100k proclamation rule applicable to this scenario?”
It is applicable to you since you need new stamping which is a consular process.
Hi can anyone refer me to cognizant? I can DM the details. Thanks!
