Need advice on interviews. I have not interviewed since my first career, which was 3 years ago. Currently working at the Big 4. Focused on SOX but mainly IT. What are some questions/ websites/ videos that I should look into? One position is Sr. Internal audit and the other is security compliance.

On my client, whites are minority. Any meeting with 20 people have 17 Indians mostly contractors on H1B and 3 white employees in leadership roles. Is this ratio common on large tech projects?

Have a little less than 1YOE at my firm (started in Sept) - is it a bad idea to apply now or should I wait to the 1YOE mark? Would it be a bad idea to cold apply? Don't want to miss out entirely on the hiring spree but also worried about being dinged due to relatively little experience. I don't have a lot of connections at the firms but can probably pull together a referral in the next few months with some networking.

How is the GRC practice at KPMG?

I have 15 years of consulting plus industry experience and the original position was Director/ Seattle office. I am in NYC.

Everything else is ok but I have mixed feelings about my interview with the partner. He came across extremely off and unprofessional and kept bringing the conversation to my "singleness" and the things I could do. I thought he was being friendly when he gave me suggestions on where to rent, places to eat etc. ...cont

How do guys balance connecting with recruiters at other firms for a role you fit, while also delaying to get a better grasp on the overal environment of what is currently going with Covid (i.e. what raises, layoffs, projects, etc will look like)

I took a full time role after being assured that my freelance manager at the time would NOT be hired full time. Within two weeks, they took me aside to say, so, we’re actually hiring her full time, just wanted to let you know. I’ve bent over backward and contorted myself a myriad of ways to get this person to like me even though I wasn’t her hire. I used to be seated next to her and she would talk all day to me and ask me questions non stop to help her do her job. Continued...

I'm graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering and recently a company that works with technology that I am very interested in reached out to me about a Project Administrator position. I don't have a business degree and I'm not really interested in administrative work but they said this position will help me get familiar with the company and eventually lead into an engineering position. That said, is this common for engineering companies to do or am I being lowballed?

I am currently an MBA student concentrating in business analysis and I’m looking to pivot in my career. My background is in corporate communications, so I’m not sure how to tailor my resume for analyst positions. I’ve had no luck getting a callback after submitting to several job openings. I will be graduating in May 2023, but I’m eager to make the transition into a new role as an analyst. Any feedback on my resume is greatly appreciated.
