I've had a hybrid role for the past 4 years where I get unlimited sick days (well 14 really until fmla kicked in), 3 weeks of vacation, 3 personal days. I am also given the week after Xmas off. if my toddlers are sick I can work at home with them. Interviewing w fortune 500 that offers 15 pto days that have to use for sick days too.Strictly in office job 9-5 and dress bus.prof. These bad benefits? Outdated culture?I am a seasoned professional. Seems tough.

You don't need to and there's no need to know. You're only exposing yourself to politicking and backstabbing.
Curious why people don’t say where they’re going? I’m in strategy and never thought about doing this. Is it different for creative and why?
Addendum: I don’t feel pressured to tell, it’s just that it doesn’t bother me to tell.
I never say where I’m going.
Unless you have a good reason for not telling (like you fear retaliation or interference from your current company), refusing to share where you’re going makes it look like you’re hiding something scandalous. So yeah, you don’t NEED to tell, but people are going to think it’s weird when you don’t.
As long as it’s not a direct competitor to the client/work you were doing before. Depending on your non complete contract you signed on hire, they could come back at you for breach of contract.
We are so buried in litigation, they will not spend the time or money.

I wouldn’t be offended by someone wanting to keep their new job place private, but if it were a coworker I’d thought was a friend I don’t think think I’d view them that way anymore
Yeah I kind of agree. I respect the choice to keep it private, but it’s always awkward when you ask someone and they withhold the information.
It’s important to do what feels best to you though! Just think this 👆is a valid point.
