Yes they would, otherwise you cannot keep up with grad school work load. They usually want you to have at least general bio/chem, biochemistry, calculus, some lab courses taken during undergrad and maybe even orgo and physics. Usually if you’re one or two classes short, they allow you to make them up after you start grad school and count the credits towards the degree. But if you have no science background at all, I would suggest you start taking those courses without matriculation - shows your commitment and helps you with foundation
Harvard MS/MBA in biotechnology (for the MS).
To some degree, i remember they wanna see some science coursework but dont recall if it is required
