I want to share very bad experience I had at Mastercard
I was given offer by Mastercard in month of Dec The hike was less but looking at brand & other perks I accepted the offer & was looking forward to joining them.I got few offers & I went back to them for sole purpose of renegotiating CTC, to have a industry standard hike. They didn't reverted back for 2-3 days & just dropped a mail that they are revoking initial offer as well on grounds that they didn't like i gave other interview
Any thoughts on Laronde?

You know tax has been doing this bonus structure for years right? Welcome to the club.
Rules are you have to be with the firm on the day you receive the bonus or they have a right to withdraw it.
If you quit before 9/30, you won't get the bonus.
That was their whole plan. They have to pay the bonus to a less number of employees.

Look on Spark, the bonus strategy actually says " The Firm provides Annual Performance Bonuses as an incentive for continued employment. To receive an annual bonus award, eligible staff must be hired on or before April 30 in the current year, and staff must be actively employed by the Firm on the date any Annual Performance Bonus is to be paid in order to earn and be eligible to receive it."
Hmmm. Must have changed the rules. Pretty certain that wasn't always the way it worked.
