Also karma
Karma for taking care of your career, and not hurting anyone because a good consulting firm should have a backfill available should they need it? No such thing
Just say you have a personal family commitment and take the day off
Just say you had a dentist appointment. Don’t say you got sick if you don’t sound sick.
Just tell them you have migraine and need to rest.
What isn’t a disability now?
Call in sick and if they ask what happened say you came down with a cold. They can’t really ask any more than that? Or request an hour or so off for a doctors appointment and return when you’re done.

request for a PTO
