Audiobooks really helped make my commute bearable. Occasionally, I listen to a podcast, but only funny ones, because the daily news is depressing.
Audiobooks are good to pass the time.
By not choosing a job with a long commute lol 30 mins is my max and if its a good enough opportunity, I will move closer.

So, I drive as apart of my job. I listen to music it helps. I workout bc it helps to temper my temper 🤣. I know it's not an option for most but I also take my dog with me in the field it helps me to focus.
I love that. My German Shepherd went with me everywhere.

I have a long train ride. I read books but not work related.

I generally listen to music or a podcast on the way to work. I have about an hour commute so it goes by fast when I have something to listen to. I really don't mind an hour commute.
