Hey fishes,
Let’s say Brillio gave some joining bonus and if we are leaving within an year we need to pay it back.
So does it mean I need to put papers after one year or is that okay to put papers after 9 months, so serving 3 months notice makes it one year.
Please let me know if anyone had an idea about this.
Brillio

You kinda just have to figure out what works for you… a decade in and i am still trying to figure out what that is for me.
I find notion super helpful for cross-collaboration across certain teams that are willing to use it.
Also good ol transaction checklists and calendar blocking. There’s a utility that is supposed to automatically calendar based on what you tell it you have to do and how long you expect each task to take, but I can’t recall the name.
Thanks for the flag. I haven’t used it yet since current system hasn’t steered me wrong yet, but ya never know
I use good notes to create handwritten markups on my iPad. Don’t really use it for organization. I carry around a single notebook and use it until it’s full. All call notes, deal notes etc go into the notebook. I also use sticky notes, to-do lists, and calendar reminders.
I love Trello, used to use it as a lawyer and it’s amazing
Also use Trello for generally keeping track of matters and items that are on my plate. I have one board, lists for each matter and cards for each action item. Cards are color coded based on whether they are to dos, I’m waiting on something for another person or it’s not currently in my court and high priority or do it now items. I also use the date feature to bring things to the forefront when they’ve been lingering too long and I forgot about it.
I always used OneNote and I should say it's better compared to GoodNotes. But it works well with some of my co-workers. I just find OneNote more efficient and fun to use especially for note taking.
Following for info
I also use Trello. Highly recommend checking it out
Same boat as you. I bought a “remarkable II” about a month ago. It works pretty well. I have a notebook for each week, and a page for different categories of tasks (I’m a solo so I have a lot of non-substantive work to do). At the end of the week, I duplicate the notebook and revise for the next week. It can also redline pdf docs and syncs with my OneDrive and converts handwritten notes to typed ones if you’re into that. So far I like it, but I’ve had a hard time sticking to single method the decade plus I’ve been practicing.
When you say you arent really a microsoft person, do you mean you use a macbook for work? What firm does that? I have a macbook for personal use and it 100% more pleasant to use than my garbage work surface, but i have not heard if any firm providing macbooks. If you have a PC for work and use word/excel/powerpoint… you are a microsoft person. One note is solid. You should try it.
